Green Tara sits in her characteristic position with her right leg pendant with the foot supported by a small lotus; her right hand rests on her knee, in the boon-granting gesture, white her left is held in the "three-refuge" gesture (symbolic of the Buddha, the Dharma and the Sangha). there is a blue lotus on her left shoulder, and another over her right.
