This group of naturalistic objects includes a walnut, chestnut, peanut, gingko nut, sunflower seed, melon seed, lily bulb, water chestnut, and bat- or moustache-shaped caltrop—all made from the distinctive reddish brown, sandy clay of the Yixing potteries.
