Side chair with red and green tapestry Stafford armorial shield set in carved walnut frame surrounded by maroon velvet on chair back; two seated lions with Stafford armorial shields as finials; four inscribed Stafford armorials shields in each corner on seat; and gothic ornamentation. "Stafford" is carved into crest. Shield insignia also inscribed on back of splat. The velvet is of a later date, matching fragments of the original.
