A long, narrow scarf or headcloth of plain-woven indigo dyed cotton with a section of ornate embroidery in geometric and additional designs at each end worked in silk and cotton threads of gold, green, beige, tan and brown. Some supplementary wefts are also found at the ends. Tan stripes run along each selvage approximately 1/2" in from the edge. The short ends are finished with fringe. Several long, thin cords are present as well. The headcloth was produced on a backstrap loom.
