A hound (braque) and a spaniel (épagneul) pointing to two pheasants. The hound is on the proper left, and slightly ahead of the spaniel that is on the proper right. Behind and between the two dogs is a large hollow stump. The pheasants are looking away from the dogs on the edge of the ground/base. Modeling and chasing are sharp and detailed. Base: oval ground with rim.
