As described by Bouillon for the second state, with the reflections in the water, but without roulette work. According to the British Museum website, this is one of "eleven title-pages belonging to an album of Franco-Romanian romances. They were printed by Delâtre and published in 1857, without the musical score or text. This series of eleven plates are rare; they were executed for an amateur and not a music publisher."
The Baltimore Museum of Art by purchase, 1996; The Maryland Institute College of Art,
through Henry Walters, Baltimore, by bequest 1909; from George A. Lucas, Paris
