Two pieces of printed cotton stamped with Renaissance-velvet revival pattern, but in grays and tans and beige. Reverse bears stamp: 'SOC.AN.FORTUNY' (Società Anonima Fortuny Déposé) trade mark of the Fortuny company prior to 1950. The Societa Anonima Fortuny was established on the island of Giudecca in 1919. There Fortuny printed intricately decorated cottons.
