Rectangular poncho with 34 cm long opening for head. Brown central panel with nested gray and black striped border. Front has 2 pockets which run from hem to 42-43 cms up the length; pockets are full width of poncho; loops for closing pockets (?) are on inside edge of each pocket and in corresponding position on poncho. Pockets ornamented with 8 tassles (black, gray, maroon, green, orange) 13-15 cms from each end; fringe (maroon, orange, green-blue) 24-27 cms from each end; 9 tassles (orange, maroon, green) 39-42 cms from each end. Tassles, fringe, loops are based in bands of embroidery; embroidery band for loops are only ones that show on back of poncho. Selvage edging of pockets is red and green, selvage edging of chest/upper back is gray. Accompanying bag constructed by sewing down one side and across bottom; color is off white; bag has tie string.

Inscribed: Small piece of white cloth stitched to 1 corner of poncho.
