Printed Indian or Persian textile, possibly a prayer mat of block-printed cotton with a design with large mihrab in center with three borders. The mihrab is printed in red, ochre, blue and black with all-over print of small boteh. It is flanked by columns with scrolling vines and large boteh. Third border with scrolling foliate forms. Bound in blue-turquoise and different printed, possibly European cotton on back printed in tans, reds, blues, ochres with thin stripes and slightly wider stripes with large roses. Trellis pattern on ground.
