A portrait of an elderly woman in a dark dress before a green background. The portrait is composed of pieces of printed cotton or calico fabrics of various sizes and colors including several shades of brown and green, as well as gray, blue, white, pink, red, etc.. Machine stitching in white, brown, taupe, blue, etc. is used to add depth and detail. The portrait is mounted on cream colored fabric and framed in an unfinished wooded frame.
