Credit Line Gift of Mr. and Mrs. L. Manuel Hendler
Object Number 1947.182
Hollow remains of stirrup-spout vessel in the form of a seated warrior. The entire spout appendage is broken, leaving two gaping holes in the back and rear neck. There is a large hole in the proper right side of the head and much surface erosion. The proper right hand resting on the knee is missing the object it once held. The surface color is mottled black with a brilliant patina. The individual's mouth appears to have been "stitched" close.

Markings: Holes in head, back, rear neck. Badly eroded surface.
