Flattop with fretwork pediment with three plinths, the center is the tallest and has a brass finial. Ogee cornice molding with band of light and dark blocks below like false dentils. Rectangular bonnet door has arched top and rectangular glazing in the same shape as the dial. Band of alternating dark and light diagonal inlay on door repeats this shaping. Arch top rectangular glazed cut out on both sides of bonnet. Ogee base molding on bonnet. Bonnet slides onto case above cove molded waist. Case door has torus molding applied to four edges. Same band inlay on bonnet door used on case stiles and case door. Case has fillet and cove molding of straight bracket base. White enameled dial with gold scrollwork surrounding a diamond in the lunette. Refinished 20th cent., uniform faded mahogany, inlays do not stand out.
