White painted sides, top, bonnet base molding. Removable flat topped bonnet with ball finials at front corners and carved pinneapple on cushion molded plinth at center. Bonnet door of gilt molded stiles and rails with molded blossom on corner blocks. Reverse painted panel with gold lyres with scrolled foliage with green and red highlights on black ground. Lower 1/4 has gold floral and shell motifs with black and red highlights on a black ground, a red oval at center with 'Aaron Willard/ Boston.' Cove and 1/4 round base molding on bonnet. Same enframement of lower glass panel as on bonnet door. Painted with broad bronze colored border with large leaves and 8 pointed stars on each corner. Band of gold bellflowers surround rectangular pastoral scene of shepards with garlanded sheep and basket of flowers beneath a tree with cottage in left rear ground. Gilt cushion molded base on two pressed brass paw and foliage patterned front feet and two hollow cast, screw shanked brass ball rear.
