A lightweight unfitted black cotton shirt with an attached stand-up collar (1-1/2" high), set in yoke, front slit opening, and tapering sleeves. The shirt is machine pieced and hemmed. The sleeves are added to the straight sides of the shirt body with only slight shaping in the cut and a gusset inserted under each arm to allow for movement. The sides are also very slightly shaped. The shirt is ornamented at the neck, sleeves, shoulders upper back and upper front in floral and compass designs machine embroidered in white, green, yellow, and bright red threads.
