Changsha's ceramic wares have been found in Japan, Thailand, Iraq, Iran, and along the eastern coast of Africa. A similar ewer was recovered from the cargo of a c. 825-850 ship which sank off the coast of Ba Ria, Vietnam, probably headed to southwest Asia.
