Dial Description: engraved silver sheet; the minute ring is designated with lines; calendar ring with steel hand; second hand; enameled moon phrase.
Works Description: 8-day works; recoil escapement; solid leaf pinions.
Case Description: Unknown Philadelphia case maker. Date: 1765-1770. Woods: mahogany, yellow pine (saddle board), tulip poplar, sweet gum (backboard).
Carving: two flame finials, rosettes on the broken-scroll pediment. Cartouche is of asymmetrical design and combines c-scrolls, foliage, tendrils, and two flower blossoms.
