An embroidery in metallic and silk threads with stuffed work and embellishments depicting a "Tree of Life" motif showing peacocks, flowers, lovebirds, and various other birds in a flowering tree. The embroidery is in a roundel format and is worked primarily in gold with accents of pink and other pastel colors, on a white silk ground. The elements are highly dimensional. The work is mounted and framed in a square modern gold frame.
