Fragmented tapestry woven roundel with red ground and polychrome design of Tree of Life in two stylized abstracted variations, alternating with four rosettes and surrounding an enlarged central rosette. The roundel is surrounded by a polychrome border of "gems" with minimal area of plainwoven natural linen beyond.
The warp yarns are S spun Z plied (2); the weft are S spun single yarns and Z spun single yarns. The structure is weft faced plain weave (tapestry).
