Carved ivory piece set in wood handle (round hole in wood at one end). Ivory: Carved animals include (center, tip to handle): seal or walrus heads (surfacing from water), seal, seal with pup on its back, seal head (surfacing from water) and its tail, two seals floating on their backs and a beluga whale. Down both sides are waterfowl. At the base near the handle are a human figure (left) and beluga whale (right)
