Molin has remained an obscure figure and is not mentioned by
Lucas in his Diary. Works he exhibited at the Salons of 1850 and
1872 suggest that he was a painter of landscapes and hunting scenes.
Most notably, he participated in the first Impressionist exhibition
in 1874, submitting four compositions.
