Heavywoven upholstery fabric, possibly a lampas with plain-woven light beige cotton (?) ground surface fabric and multi colored patterning wefts of taupe, white, green, gold-green, purple, red, and dark blue bound bound with secondary wraps in twill. Design consists of serpentine leafy stems (leaves showing inlaid sprig design) from which multiple types and colors of flowers spring as in tree of life design. Layers are also bound at regular intervals with short weft floats on surface giving a "tied" effect. Wide woven selvage edges on two sides. Top and bottom edges are cut.
