The quality of the painted decoration is exceptional, ranging from ground's flat wash of the palest green to the tree trunk drawn in the manner of wet-brush ink painting. The woman's surroundings - a remote landscape between a large rock and bare tree - her basket of flowers, and avian companion identify her as an Immortal.
