Head and neck of vessel modeled to depict a bird's head with modeled eyes and beak on the shoulder of the vessel. Wings and legs painted near beak on the shoulder on the vessel. 3 lugs on sides and back. Encrusted cream slip or pigment covers part of the painted bird and is scattered over vessel.
Inscribed: 'D-156 L8' painted in black on bottom of vessel.
