Kimono jacket (nagabaori) or long haori with long dropped sleeves. Green damask ground with peacock feather all-over design. Resist printed cherry blossom design in white with added touches of yellow, pink, and grey at shoulders and down front and back. Made using shiro age technique which uses a rice paper weft to make a white pattern, which was then hand painted with color inside of the white. Five cherry blossom family crests or "mon" on both shoulders (on sleeves in front) and at back neck and back shoulders (on sleeves). Lined with silk resist dyed in two colors on white. Light pink and yellow areas dyed with resist line (created by sewn and gathered thread removed after dyeing) between. Small tie dye floral designs in both (yellow and light pink boshi shibori areas). Two short pink haori himo ties with pom poms attached to inside jacket collar at chest height. The nagabaori is from the Taisho to Early Showa periods.
