Set in a panel composed of fragments of glass from the 15th-17th centuries; modern border. There are 3 scenes in the roundel. In the far background is the birth. A woman (Elizabeth) lays in bed attended by her midwives. One midwife sits on the ground with the baby, John. In the middle ground to the right is the scene of the circumcision which is taking place in a circular porch. In the foreground is the scene of the naming. A man in regal dress holds a piece of paper. He is surrounded by three men and a dog.
