At top of lamp stand there is gilt acanthus leaf decoration which is repeated on the column near the base; near center of the column there is a bulbous turning decorated with a stencilled fruit and foliage motif in polychrome and freehand bronzing; scroll base supports are enriched with gilt scrolls and brass rosettes and relate to other pedestal-based pieces in the Wilson family furniture. This stand is part of a group of eight pieces.
