The silk chiffon ground is has straight edges, including two long selvages that are woven more compactly and two hemmed short edges finished with hand stitching. The scarf is brocaded with a design of circles within a scalloped border design in matching tan silk threads. The brocaded pattern is obscured with an over printed design of botehs set within a grid on point in vibrant colors of red, blue, black, and green.
