A length of bright orange silk damask with a pattern of large medallions or roundels featuring butterflies, peaches, and the double 'Happiness' (Shuangxi) symbols. Both selvages are present. The top and bottom edges are cut and unfinished.
The Baltimore Museum of Art by gift, 2002; Mr. and Mrs. Cameron Slack, Gibson Island, Maryland, by inheritance; collected in the early 1920s by Dr. and Mrs. Henry Slack when they lived in China
