Length of salmon velvet fabric consisting of 5 3/4" wide stripes of voided velvet with uncut white loops forming a lace-like design on a salmon ground alternating with 5 1/2" wide stripes of solid salmon-colored cut panne velvet. The lace designs are oriented perpendicular to the selvages. Both side edges are selvages (3/8" wide); the top and bottom edges are cut somewhat unevenly with fraying edges. The ground may be organzine, see p. 407 Fairchild's.
