Shield in oval shape with one band from top to bottom crossed by two vertical lines and one horizontal band on right side. Vertical band in white ground with row of circles of red (left) and black (right) flanking a central vertical white band; horizontal band in two rows of triangles. Entire shield broken into six sections between the vertical and diagonal lines in (clockwise from top right): red, white, black, red, white, black.
The Baltimure Museum of Art by gift, 1998; Robert and Jane Hellawell by purchase, 1961/1962 in Arusha, Tanzania when Mr. Hellawell was director of U.S. Peace Corps in Tanzania.
