Printed fabric consisting of abstracted, geometrically inspired design of city buildings in bright colors of red, green, yellow, pink, lime green, and black with a wide central street of red. Several figures are shown walking across this street. A hotel sign and an American flag project out into the same street, and a small truck seems to cross at an upper crossing. A large-scale head is shown smoking a cigarette at the lower right as if representing a billboard or a projection of an image on the wall of the building.
The scene is [hand] printed on linen with 4-1/2" wide unprinted borders on both sides, 57" of unprinted linen at the bottom and 53" of unprinted linen at the top. This kind of unprinted border fabric indicates this textile was intended to be a wall hanging or mounted artwork, not a piece of yard goods.
Note: catalog describes this fabric as "Hand print on linen".
