Large square scarf of natural/creme plain-woven linen or cotton ground embroidered with large stylized floral designs in each corner, smaller stylized designs on sides, border designs along each side. Edges are finished on all sides with a multi-stepped pattern finished with fine buttonhole stitches in multiple colors. Fabric has been cut away from the outside of the stitches to leave border. Stitches used include drawn thread work forming all motifs, lesser amounts of stem. Embroidered designs are very delicate and are executed in bright blues, greens, reds, coral/pinks, yellows, black or dark brown, etc.
